This domain is named in the memory of First Cinema theater in Andhra Pradesh 'MARUTHI TALKIES'.

It is Privilege to remember this historical place regarding to Telugu cinema.  Maruthi Talkies is the first Cinema hall to show motion picture in Andhra Pradesh, located in Vijayawada and constructed in 1921.  It was built by Pothina Srinivasa Rao.  The theater was a overt for the development of Telugu cinema from silent pictures to talkies and talkies to color films up to mid 60s. contact me at dormantstars[at]gmail[dot]com
